Anne Okenfuss is an American Council on Exercise Certified Personal Trainer and a Certified Group Fitness Instructor with the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America.
Anne graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Following graduation, she worked in public accounting as an auditor and in the private sector as a staff accountant. She eventually became controller of a local property management firm. Following her career in Accounting, and prior to joining BENE-FIT Fitness & Recreation Consulting, Anne served as an instructor and manager for Gymboree Play and Music of Kansas City. Her responsibilities included hiring, training and managing staff, as well as coordinating the class curriculum.
An avid exerciser for over 20 years, Anne initially joined the fitness field as a group fitness instructor. Because of her strong business and management skills from previous employment, fitness club managers and owners soon recognized her professional potential. It didn‘t take long for Anne to transition into fitness management where she joined the BENE-FIT Fitness and Recreation Consulting team. Anne provides uniqueness to the BENE-FIT team. She not only can provide BENE-FIT clients with assistance in accounting, but also expertise in children’s exercise programming.
