There is no established duration of time to conduct a comprehensive fitness and recreation facility feasibility study.� Length of study, intensity and thoroughness of study is oftentimes related to our client�s budget and their timeline for completing the feasibility study.� Obviously, the longer and more in-depth the feasibility study, the greater the opportunity for accumulating and providing valuable information to insure the success of your fitness and recreation facility.

Master plans consist of an intense, in-depth analysis and audit of all aspects of a fitness and recreation department in an effort to identify current and future needs and goals. A strategic plan is a plan often incorporated into a master plan. It is designed to assist fitness and recreation department officials understand how to strategically plan and prepare for achieving future needs and goals identified in the master plan.

WHAT CRITERIA SHOULD I CONSIDER BEFORE PURSUING LEGAL REPRESENTATION FOR AN INJURY INCURRED DURING PARTICIPATION IN A FITNESS, RECREATION OR SPORTS PROGRAM?

Several criteria exist when contemplating legitimacy to pursue legal action incurred from a fitness, recreation or sports injury. They include, but are not limited to:

  1. Gross negligence on behalf of the fitness, recreation, or athletic department that sponsored the program in which the injury occurred
  2. Improper program supervision
  3. Lack of proper instruction, qualifications, or certifications of the fitness and recreation instructors, supervisors or sports officials leading the program.
  4. An Inadequate fitness, recreation, or sports facility or exercise area to conduct the program and,
  5. A defect in the fitness, recreation, or sports equipment used in the program that led to the injury.
